Last summer, Ontario Midwives asked supporters to send them a photo or their babies or their birth if they supported birth centres. The response was overwhelming, and though we weren't able to use every picture, we created this video to showcase just a fraction of the 6,000 Ontarians who have declared their support for birth centres. Their hopeful faces send a message that we hope Premier Dalton McGuinty will hear as the 2012 budget is prepared: that Ontarians are expecting birth centres!
Please send a message to Premier Dalton McGuinty saying that you support midwifery-led birth centres. http://www.ontariomidwives.ca/support/expecting
