How care is given by students: In the first course, students start by watching the midwife give care. In the last course the students give all the care. The midwife is always with the student in the beginning. Later, when they develop more skills, the midwife may supervise the student at a distance. The midwife is always present with the student when a woman is in labour. You will be given more information about midwifery students in general and the students currently at our practice when you come into care. BACK |
